Welcome to Reflexology Feet First...

About Me

I am a mother to my nine year old son Daniel and one year old daughter Niamh. When my son started school i decided to go to University in order to gain my BSc in Complementary Therapies (Reflexology). I attended Edinburgh’s Napier University as a full time student for three years and graduated in July 2008 with a Distinction. I also won the Universities Heather Wilson Prize for outstanding achievements within my program of study.

I am fully insured and a member of the Association of Reflexologists. In order to remain a full member i have to attend seminars, courses and lectures to improve my practice and further develop the profession, this is known as continued professional development. To date i have furthered my studies and have achieved certificates in Maternity Reflexology and Reiki.

What to Expect...

A consultation is carried out to find out your medical history. Questions about your lifestyle are asked to give me an insight into your diet, exercise, stress factors, occupational hazards, current problems or any difficulties you may be experiencing. I then tell you a little about reflexology and answer any questions you may have.

Next i ask you to sit in my reclining chair called a lafuma and offer you a blanket so you feel safe and warm. Treatment lasts for approximately one hour, this time is reduced for young children and babies as i feel that sessions lasting no longer than 30 minutes are most beneficial.
