Clients may have heard stories regarding reflexology that may be true or false for example, it can cause miscarriage, (as Enzer stated, “why are abortion clinics so busy if that’s the case, people would just go for reflexology instead”). Many people fear that reflexology may harm the foetus. Enzer (2004), states that drugs, alcohol, smoking, diet (lack of folic acid) and genetic flaws damage the foetus. Reflexology does not.
